Jennifer Lawrence is Pretty in Prabal Gurung at the ‘Hunger Games’ Premiere

The Hunger Games is less than two weeks away and I’m trying my best not to start bawling (the tears pour down on cue as soon as Katniss, played by Jennifer Lawrence, cries “I volunteer as tribute” in the trailers). 

But here’s one thing for HG devotees to smile about: when Lawrence arrived in Prabal Gurung at last night’s LA premiere, she shone like the Girl on Fire. 

Cinna would be proud!

Katniss Everdeen’s $30,000 Tresses

If the Hunger Games were real, Katniss Everdeen would probably wonder why the heck the cost of her hair could put a teen through her first year of college. 

But in the world of Hollywood, renting five $6,000-a-pop wigs is pretty much normal (check out BellaSugar for the deets). We’re not math whizzes, but we go shopping enough to conclude that it comes to a grand total of exactly $30k.

Noshing on charred bread in $30k worth of hair? Only in Tinseltown.

JLaw Tells ‘Interview’ She Wants to “Bathe in a Pool Full of Pasta”

If you regularly read this blog, you already know that I have a borderline unhealthy obsession with JLaw. And this Interview Germany mag cover that Fashionista plastered all over the Internet yesterday isn’t helping. 

If her skills with a bow and arrow didn’t leave a mark last weekend, this piece would make even President Snow warm up to the badass beauty. 

According to Fashionista (because try as we might, we can’t read German), the ‘Girl on Fire’ gave one hell of an interview. 

“Sometimes I think, I should rather have more artistic answers ready,” Lawrence said. “But the truth is: I’d like to be Bridget Jones and I am interested in Hulk Hogan.”

And Lawrence, who claims to be a fan of sweets and food in general, also told the mag that she wants to “bathe in a pool full of pasta.” Who else desperately wants to be this girl’s BFF?

Counting down the days ‘til Catching Fire hits theaters on November 21, 2013? Yeah, so are we. But thankfully, the wait just got a bit easier thanks to Entertainment Weekly.
