Jennifer Lawrence is Pretty in Prabal Gurung at the ‘Hunger Games’ Premiere

The Hunger Games is less than two weeks away and I’m trying my best not to start bawling (the tears pour down on cue as soon as Katniss, played by Jennifer Lawrence, cries “I volunteer as tribute” in the trailers). 

But here’s one thing for HG devotees to smile about: when Lawrence arrived in Prabal Gurung at last night’s LA premiere, she shone like the Girl on Fire. 

Cinna would be proud!

If looks could kill, Jennifer Lawrence would be taking no prisoners in this stunning Tom Ford frock. The backless Fall 2012 dress hugged the gorgeous actress’ curves and showed off her flawless back during the Paris premiere of the Hunger Games.

Katniss Everdeen’s $30,000 Tresses

If the Hunger Games were real, Katniss Everdeen would probably wonder why the heck the cost of her hair could put a teen through her first year of college. 

But in the world of Hollywood, renting five $6,000-a-pop wigs is pretty much normal (check out BellaSugar for the deets). We’re not math whizzes, but we go shopping enough to conclude that it comes to a grand total of exactly $30k.

Noshing on charred bread in $30k worth of hair? Only in Tinseltown.

JLaw Tells ‘Interview’ She Wants to “Bathe in a Pool Full of Pasta”

If you regularly read this blog, you already know that I have a borderline unhealthy obsession with JLaw. And this Interview Germany mag cover that Fashionista plastered all over the Internet yesterday isn’t helping. 

If her skills with a bow and arrow didn’t leave a mark last weekend, this piece would make even President Snow warm up to the badass beauty. 

According to Fashionista (because try as we might, we can’t read German), the ‘Girl on Fire’ gave one hell of an interview. 

“Sometimes I think, I should rather have more artistic answers ready,” Lawrence said. “But the truth is: I’d like to be Bridget Jones and I am interested in Hulk Hogan.”

And Lawrence, who claims to be a fan of sweets and food in general, also told the mag that she wants to “bathe in a pool full of pasta.” Who else desperately wants to be this girl’s BFF?

Jennifer Lawrence Heats Up People Magazine’s Best Dressed List

Call me obsessed, but I clicked through People’s best dressed list saying “next”, “next”, “NEEEEXT” until reaching Jennifer Lawrence. Did I mention that I’m currently sitting in my office, where you can hear a pin drop? Moving right along now…

Despite being the Girl on Fire, JLaw took the tenth and last spot on the best dressed list. Nominated by College Fashion blogger Zephyr Basine,the mag featured her donning two gorgeous Prabal Gurung numbers. 

“She doesn’t let the clothes wear her,” Basine told People reporters. Judging from the JLaw posters plastered over my walls, I’d have to agree wholeheartedly. 

Meanwhile, Gwyneth Paltrow topped the list, with the Duchess of Cambridge coming in second and Emma Stone taking third. In fourth place? The Kardashians (I can’t believe I just typed that). I’ll let you make of it what you will.

The Girl on Fire has landed many a fashion magazine cover, but I can’t help but obsess over her Vogue UK debut. Clad in a totally covet-worthy Dolce & Gabbana number, Jennifer Lawrence exuded grace and glamour.

We have a feeling that those November issues are going to fly off the racks. The Hunger Games starlet might want to keep her cell phone at the ready, ‘cause Anna  should be calling any minute now!

The Girl (is Still) On Fire: JLaw is the New Face of Miss Dior

With a Vogue UK cover under her belt and a brand new partnership with Miss Dior, the fashion world seems to be betting on Jennifer Lawrence (sorry, tributes). 

The 22-year-old Hunger Games starlet will serve as the newest face of Miss Dior handbags, according to a StyleCaster post. Keep your eyes peeled for the campaign ads, which will hit your fave magazines in March 2013.

JLaw Stuns in Miss Dior Ad Campaign

Whether she’s strapped to a tree branch in Katniss-garb or gracing the red carpet in a Dior Haute Couture ballgown, Jennifer Lawrence always seems to look perfectly stunning —and her brand new Miss Dior ad campaign is no exception! Shot by photographer Willy Vanderperre, our BFF (at least in our heads) is featured holding a classy chain-handled purse and garb from Miss Dior’s spring 2013 ready-to-wear collection. You’ll be sending us samples, right Jen?

Of course, the Girl on Fire was quick to point out —with her usual frankness— that she doesn’t really walk around looking like a perfect specimen of the human race. 

“That doesn’t look like me at all,” she told Access Hollywood. ”I love Photoshop more than anything in the world. Of course it’s Photoshop, people don’t look like that.”

And with that, our JLaw obsession has grown from slightly unhealthy to crazy as Cato.

Saturday Obsession: Katniss Everdeen’s Official Capitol Portrait

If you’ve been awaiting the release of Catching Fire with bated breath, the franchise’s new portrait campaign on Capitol Couture will hold you over for at least a few minutes —and considering how excited we are, that’s saying a lot. We can’t seem to get enough of this portrait of Katniss in what we assume is her Cinna-designed wedding gown (which was actually created by Jakarta designer Tex Saverio). Call us mesmerized and eager and nail-bitingly worried for our favorite victor, all at the same time!

Saturday Obsession: JLaw’s Early Modeling Photos

I’ve been obsessed with Jennifer Lawrence since I caught the first teaser trailer for The Hunger Games (which was painfully short, but I digress). Hours of Internet stalking and one crazy fan girl collage later, I stumbled upon a few of her old modeling shots, which have been circulating the fashion blogs and news sites in recent days.

JLaw said that she didn’t make the cut for Abercrombie’s catalogue because of her “flared nostrils, red face, my hair’s crazy, and I’m like, WRAHHHH!” Nevertheless, photographer Chris Kaufman (who did not shoot Jen’s dreaded Abercrombie photos) told E! News Now, “When I first took her picture, I was thinking she moved like Gisele.”
