Barneys Celebrates the Season with Gaga

New Yorkers, get ready to go gaga over Barneys’ holiday display (opening on November 21, 2011 at 11:59 p.m. in the flagship NYC store). The Lady Gaga-themed fantasy land, aptly titled the Gaga Workshop, will be enough to seriously impress the most ardent Mother Monster devotee.

So, what can we expect to find on the Gaga-filled fifth floor of Barneys’? Racked.com reports:

The Gaga Workshop will contain about 170 products, which include but are definitely not limited to disco stick lollipops, chocolate “Poker Face” chips, a pair of $4,100 shoes, press on nails, a claw Christmas stocking, a handmade chocolate skull, hair bows, and a snow globe with a little Lady Gaga on top. What were you expecting, socks?

And the news only gets better: 25% of sales proceeds from the workshop will go to the Born This Way Foundation, the songstress’ initiative to inspire today’s youth to be tolerant and accepting of differences.

Ladies, I’m already raiding my closet for my finest Gaga-esque gear for this one! So excited!

Lady Gaga’s Gotten Herself Into a Hairy Situation

So it looks like Lady Gaga has been busy selecting lucky stylists from Whoville (that’s right —the fictional Dr. Seuss town) for her Asian tour. 

As if the gown of purple hair wasn’t enough, Mother Monster topped off her look with a white hat and elbow-length gloves. 

A little wacko? Yes, but I’m still casting my vote for the meat dress (Google it).

Doin’ It for the Fame: Gaga to Release a Fragrance

Little Monsters, life will get a whole lot sweeter come September. Finally, finally Lady Gaga announced on Twitter that her new fragrance, “Fame”, will hit the market just in time for the start of classes (so expect eau de Gaga to be wafting through the halls come fall). 

As expected, it’s bold, dark, and fabulous! Mother Monster reports that the fragrance will smell like “tears of Belladonna, crushed heart of Tiger Orchidea with a black veil of incense, pulverized apricot, and the combinative essences of saffron and honey drops.”

Saturday Obsession: Gaga x Vogue

Vogue’s latest cover girl is none other than the Mother Monster herself. The 916-page issue, as most of you already know, is jam-packed with the latest in fall fashion. 

Clad in Marc Jacobs, this cover (and entire Mert and Marcus shoot, for that matter) is undeniably Gaga.
