Condé Nast Heads to a Television Screen Near You

Condé Nast, the powerhouse publisher behind many of your favorite glossies (think Lucky, Vanity Fair, Glamour, and Vogue), is planning to head to the silver screen.

According to a report released by the New York Times yesterday:

"developing television and online programming based on Condé Nast personalities, articles and general brands is the first priority, although movies are also a focus."

Dawn Ostroff, the former president of the CW network, will head Condé Nast Entertainment.

It’s about time!

Saturday Obsession: Manolo Blahnik and the Tale of the Elves and the Shoemaker

Fashion journalist (Vogue, anyone?) Camilla Morton has been penning fab fairy tales about industry leaders. In Manolo Blahnik and the Tale of the Elves and the Shoemaker, this style star covers Blahnik’s rise to fame —from his youth on a banana plantation to his current role as high-end footwear king— in a fun and fantastical manner.

And if one’s not enough (is it ever?!), you can also pick up Christian Lacroix and the Tale of Sleeping Beauty, the first book in what we hope will be a gorgeous series!

Taylor Swift Stuns in Rodarte

Though she’s lost her signature curls, Taylor Swift looks stunning on the cover of February’s Vogue. Donning Rodarte's S/S 2012 Purple and Marigold Hand Knit Basket Stitch Sweater, she exudes a part ladylike, part bohemian-chic air.

Above, Swift exchanges her usual sequins and sparkles for Rodarte’s Floral-Embroidered Wool Prairie Coat (fall 2011) and Marbled Wool Dress (fall 2009).

The glamfest continues through the spread, as Tay strikes pose after pose in Kate and Laura Mulleavy’s gorgeous creations. You go, gals!

Kate Moss Gets Decked Out in Versace for 32nd British Vogue Cover

Kate Moss is no stranger to style…or a British Vogue cover, for that matter. Fashionista reports that the stunning model has graced 32 of the magazine’s covers since March 1993.

For her June 2012 shoot by Mert and Marcus, the beauty rocked an embellished white Versace frock we can’t help but swoon over.

You can call this gal golden.

It’s Happening: ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ Sequel

As a former fashion intern, I wholeheartedly backed Andy as she went up against Runway's EIC, Miranda Priestly. And I never imagined I'd be saying this now, but TDWP is coming back…with a vengeance!

After 10 years, author Lauren Weisberger is bringing back the sole with Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns. Set eight years after Andy’s nightmarish job as Miranda’s assistant, EW reports that the once aspiring journalist is now a force to be reckoned with as editor of bridal mag The Plunge. Oh, and she’s also planning to wed her hunky media maven boyfriend, Max.

But don’t worry —there’s some juice to this tale (read: Miranda lurking in a corner looking deadly but fabulous).

The book is slated for an April 2013 release by Simon & Schuster. I can’t wait to tote this tome around next spring!
